MGSU took part in the celebration of the fifth anniversary of BRAUIC
The year 2022 marks the 115th anniversary of the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) and the fifth anniversary of the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium (BRAUIC).
А celebration of the 5th anniversary of BRAUIC was held online by the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) on November 11, 2022. On behalf of MGSU the Rector Pavel Akimov delivered a congratulatory speech as an honorary speaker and a representative of the BRAUIC Member University. In his speech, Pavel Akimov stated that BRAUIC is an important platform for higher architectural education in terms of talent development and academic collaboration. Also he noted that BRAUIC events are in the spotlight of academic activity of the University: every year MGSU students take part in the International Student Competition for Architectural Design and Digital Modeling.
The online meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector Vera Galishnikova, Deputy Rector - Director of the Project Office of the “Priority 2030” Program Natalia Zhelanova and Head of International Cooperation Department Olga Makarova on the part of MGSU. Representatives of other universities from different countries took part in the anniversary ceremony, too.
Beijing University of Architecture and Construction (BUCEA) is deservedly considered one of the leading institutions of higher education in construction and architecture in China. Over the 115 years of its existence it has implemented numerous national and international projects, laid the foundations for “One Belt - One Road” International Consortium of Architecture and Civil Engineering Consortium (BRAUIC) initiative.
