MGSU AT THE 28TH VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL FAIR VIIF 2019

On October 8 – 11, 2019, MGSU participated in the work programme of the 28th Vietnam International Industrial Fair in Hanoi. The university delegation was composed of the researchers employed with the Centre for Research and Education “Nano-materials and Nano-technologies”, candidates of technical sciences A.S. Inozemtsev and S.S. Inozemtsev.

The integrated exposition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation had a stand dedicated to MGSU, where five products developed within the framework of three projects were on display: “Durable road building materials”, “Micro- and nano-scale additives designated for concrete” , and “Highly strong light concrete”. They were developed within the framework of an applied research project implemented as part of the Federal target-oriented programme “Research and Development in Pursuance of the Top Priority Areas of Development of the Research and Technology Complex of Russia for 2014 – 2020.”

The work programme of the fair comprised of the exposition, a roundtable discussion on the premises of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, a presentation of the projects by the Russian delegation, and a roundtable discussion with the executives of the Russian-Vietnamese Tropical centre. Representatives of the relevant ministry of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam attended the stand of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The stand of MGSU served as the meeting point with the representatives of the Vietnamese institute of building materials (VIBM), Vietnamese centre for road building materials and technologies (CMPT) and Institute for tropical technologies of the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technologies. 

The research findings displayed by MGSU aroused profound interest of the fair guests. Particular attention was drawn by full-scale specimen of high strength and low density multi-functional light concretes, as well as high performance self-healing road building materials.

The delegation from MGSU was awarded a diploma by Ly Hoa Lien, President of the Vietnamese Exhibition Centre (FEVAC) for their contribution into the fair, and a diploma by G.V. Trubnikov, First Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, for the active participation in the exposition and the business programme.
