Erasmus+ GREB project meeting was held at NRU MGSU

On December 5th-6th 2016, MGSU held first kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project Modernization of the Curricula in sphere of smart building engineering - Green Building (GREB).

Rector of MGSU prof. Andrey Volkov opened the meeting. Rector greeted guest of the university, and noted that project is very important to the university as it aims to tackle highly relevant tasks in modern higher education of engineers.

16 universities and organizations from Europe, Russia, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, came to Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (National Research University) to set principles of future cooperation.

Kick-of meeting was moderated by Anna Tozzi, project coordinator from University of L'Aquila. Following decisions were made on the meeting:

· Steering committee members were elected

· Quality assurance committee members were elected

· Members responsible for realization of specific work packages were appointed.

· General principles and guidelines for joint work under the project were set.

In the end of intensive work session on December 5th went on a tour around MGSU Campus to see innovative MGSU laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment. Participants visited Scientific research institute for building materials and technologies, Scientific and educational center for information systems and intelligent automatics in construction, Scientific and educational center for Engineering research and monitoring of engineering structures, Scientific and educational center for water supply and discharge, and Educational, research and production lab lab for aerodynamic and aeroacoustic testing of engineering structures. Tour around university was concluded by evening reception at the University
